Ken was a wonderfully kind and thoughtful man who was loved by everyone he met and came into contact with. He loved his garden and flowers and loved entering the Cardiff In Bloom Competition, a competiton which he won many times and which he deserved to win as he worked hard and long in our garden. He enjoyed every minute of the work and loved the results of this hard work. Ken also loved being with people and joined a choir to which he belonged for a good number of years, sang at one time in a church choir and took every opportunity he could to sing. Ken also belonged to an Amateur Operatic Society in which he played many parts. He also loved to dress up as Father Christmas for children and adults alike and once again took great pleasure in this. Ken also adored cats and our two cats miss him so much. All in all Ken Smith was the man I loved, the man I shared most of my life with and the man I miss with all my heart and soul.
